Back To Work

Believe it or not, summer vacation is over for the team of folks who are preparing for the start of a great new school year. While we spent a lot of time in May preparing, we are busy putting the finishing touches on New Staff Orientation as well as training for returning teachers. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with great people doing challenging and interesting work but I still find myself wondering what happened to "the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer"! I don't think there was a day that wasn't full of activity so I must comfort myself with the realization that I really did accomplished a lot including:
1. A garage sale
2. A neat and tidy storage room
3. A garage that is no longer the bain of the neighborhood
4. The completion of a historical family photo cd with pictures of my extended family that Mom and I put together for her 90th birthday celebration and
5. A trip to Boston and Cape Cod.

Whew! No wonder I need another vacation!
